ICS TrustScore Improvements

A few weeks ago Instant Cash Sweepstakes introduced “TrustScore”  which was supposed to help them to generate more reliable answers to their surveys. TrustScore was a great idea, but it left several users unhappy. ICS just sent a newsletter today announcing new improvements on the way TrustScore works. Let’s hope it works better this time. During the halftime show of The Super Bowl, ICS re-launched the TrustScore System. During the past few weeks we stepped back, studied the many comments, emails, complaints and suggestions. We re-engineered the system and we think we got it right.

1. THE NEW TS SYSTEM DOESN’T PENALIZE YOU FOR FAILING TO ANSWER REPEATED FUN SURVEYS THE SAME WAY YOU DID THE FIRST TIME YOU SAW THEM.

2. Life flows! The TS still counts inconsistencies, which address factual aspects of your life. While sometimes some of these facts may change, we confirm them shortly after you establish a baseline answer and they are unlikely to actually change in your life in such a short interval. We follow up in a few months and if you change your answer then, there is no penalty. We will occasionally ask a question that directly or indirectly challenges one of declared demographics. Responses to these questions do count towards your TS.

3. The new system places you in competition only with yourself. As you achieve higher Ranks in the TS system, all kinds of benefits and surprises will come your way. The new system gives ICS a game-like experience and a whole new layer of fun.

To top that off, we recently introduced the ability to convert coins into lottery tickets and “press your bet” on days where you feel especially lucky. We are currently developing a “heat meter” widget that will be placed next to the lottery countdown clock. This meter will give a relative indication of how busy the ticket action is in the current lottery at the current moment in time compared to the same time on recent lottery days. The hotter the meter, the relatively heavier the betting. You will be able to use the meter to guide your coin conversion decisions. We will continue to look for great ideas and suggestion on how to make ICS even more fun.
