Canon DSL Camera $85

Last year I had a plan. Save tons of amazon gift cards that I redeemed free at Swagbucks and use them to get myself a nice Christmas gift. I was saving for a PS3. But by the time Xmas came around I was short on cash and ended up using the $230 dollars I had saved to buy Christmas gifts for everyone else. It was nice that I didn’t have to spend much on Christmas for my family, but at the same time I was frustrated cause I didn’t get the PS3. But by the beginning of April I had gathered quite a bit of money again. I figured it would take me about a month to get what I wanted. Initially I was saving to get a PS3 again, but things changed when I got $200 from my family for my birthday. I was surprised, to say the least… I had already gather over $100 from ICS and another $70 from Swagbucks and I had $30 from Irazoo. My wife helped me out with her Swagbucks account and gave me the rest to make a total of $490.

I was looking to buy a DSL camera. Since half the money was on Amazon gift cards I knew I would have to buy it from Amazon. I did my research, read tons of reviews on many cameras and by the price range the Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR was the best choice. At the time the camera price was $575.00

I couldn’t wait any longer… was a little to excited about getting the camera. So, on May 3rd I went ahead and bought it. In the end I payed $85 for the camera.

I share this with you because I often here… “how come you spend so much time with these websites that give you almost nothing at all?” “I can make $100 dollars in a day at my job”… Well, first. I spent half the time you might imagine online. I’m a web designer/programmer so half the time I’m working online anyway. Yes, I have a job and I could make $100 dollars a day too. But you see… that was $490 in savings… and I love saving money. Whether I’m buying something cheap like a CD or something expensive like canon camera… if I can save some money, I will.

My next goal… a PS3.

    Nice!

Would you say the majority comes from ICS? Swagbucks is nice, but if you think about it you win a few cents every hour on ICS almost guaranteed, and with all your refferals that adds up.

my refferals have been getting me up to 10$ a week now, and on swagbucks about 2 amazon.com gift cards every two weeks.

regardless im getting closer and closer to my brand new paintball gun. :)
