Ways & Ideas To Help Haiti
I put together a quick list of things you can do to help Haiti. There are tons of people making themselves available to help, and several organizations that have already been working in Haiti ready to receive your donation. The only reason not to help is to think that this could never happen to you.

Donando por internet mediante los bancos. Una tiendita con una bateria solar y un radio de comunicaciones para cada sector y mantener la comunicacion
Internet donations using CNN or local banks. Using a Solar Batery conected to a Comunication System in any Area to mantain comunication open.
Delivery of help is as I see it a big problem, why not send bycicles and trycicles as well as solar powered receiver radios so this can be improved.
These are normal transportation in many countries like India…

Start to contain the effects of the disaster. The U.S. Military has SeaBEES ,
use them to clear jungle outside of town and construct huts for the people. Get them away from the decaying corpses. Use the young healthy Hatians as a labor force to construct these huts. Use the paracutes from the food drops as the roofing for the huts.
Use Navy ships to desalinate sea water and pump that water to the city for distribution using hoses.
I have a great idea that someone should front if possible. I am an avid camper and have tons of camping supplies that literally i do not use. I am sure that there are people all over the country as well as the world in general that have used and unused tents/sleeping bags etc. If people were to donate these simple items instead of letting them collect dust in storage, people in Haiti would benifit beyond belief. Also, as an ex military individual I have seen tons of equipment discarded and wasted as one year they decide to upgrade in order to keep funds for the next fiscal year. If you understand anything about military funds, if its not spent then the next year they do not get the funds allocated. So, my point is! instead of discarding the equipment in ways that probably do not help anyone. Send the equipment to Haiti.
